Summer Blooms in Bengaluru offers food for thought
Looking at the beautiful summer blooms in the Garden city, gives an instant feel about the nature decorating the city in its own way, clearly making it look more beautiful. The nature’s gift has raised several questions about the mind-set of people when one frequently gets to hear about the massive traffic jams at certain locations, closure of lakes, not so pleasant weather conditions and whole lot of other problems. Also shows how people have started magnifying and enjoying negativity. Agreed, it is not possible to neglect the problems and move ahead, some solutions are a must and authorities should be directed properly to solve the issues, just can’t keep cribbing bypassing a lot of things the city offers doesn’t help the cause. It is just that the very high standards set by the city have deteriorated over the years due to multiple factors. Coming back to those exotic blooms, for an outsider entering the city it is simply a picturesque tourist spot and wonder how many of us have appreciated the natural beauty in between those usual boring lakes and traffic conversations. Strange, people travel to the outskirts of the city for enjoying the nature, not able to identify which has been offered in abundance surrounding their location .Even in the Tourism ads, looks like there is little focus on greener Bengaluru , the similar case of movies shot around the city where there are more scenes covering the metro and other locations, depends on the subject of the movie though. Those natural blooms would look like heaven on the big screen, gives an impression about the city ‘s potential yet to be tapped. When there is comparison of criticism versus Praise, definitely the city deserves much more ……….
